Is the Price of Freedom Priceless? Part One

Definition of Freedom: The power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint.

Of course, some limitations must apply to the above definition – no one should be able to do whatever they want to do, especially unjust acts, without sustaining serious consequences. That’s called anarchy, such as what we have been experiencing in our country recently. Our freedoms are being threatened in America again. In the next few days, July 4th, we will be celebrating our nation’s 244th anniversary. So, it seems that we, the American citizens have only two options 1) Either, we can defend and protect freedom with our fortunes, our honor and our lives, or 2) We can continue to allow those who purport to promote a newly defined freedom, which is intolerant, caustic, destructive, suppressive and unjust until all our freedoms are lost. This has currently been demonstrated in the past few weeks in several major cities violently erupting around this country (such as in, Los Angeles, Seattle, Minneapolis, Washington DC).

Those of us who have tasted the sweet fruit of freedom, and understand its true importance should never allow through force, tyranny or dictatorship our freedoms to be so easily taken away from law abiding citizens. It is priceless! No random monetary value can be placed on it, nor can we through subjective negotiations gauge its proper value. Freedom, is by necessity priceless. In order to discover the true meaning of freedom, each one of us must and should seriously ponder it. Due to the fact that the establishment of this great nation has endured many hard-fought hostilities, both foreign and domestic, in its almost two-and-a-half centuries of history it demands that we stand boldly, firmly and peaceably to again restore normalcy. Many brave countrymen and women have mutually pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to prevent the overthrow and destruction of this land, we call The Home of the Free and the Brave. And as they did in the past, we must now defend our freedoms at this present time.

It has always been the courage, perseverance and persistence faith of men and women that have understood the value of freedom, which is securely based on just and moral laws, that has motivated them to stand as vanguards to endure and effectively apprehend those hostile actors that have attempted unsuccessfully, to destroy our nation from time to time. The Globe Corona-Virus pandemic; Government overreach; The wrongful death of a 46-year old black man, George Floyd, at the hands of Derek Chauvin, the white Minneapolis police officer (although there has been no corroboration that he is racist, just a bad cop), he has wrongfully been used as the catalyst to instigate the recent mass protests and riots across this country. The current national crisis that we have been afflicted with due to the Corona-virus, the subversive ideologies and groups like Black Lives Matter and Antifa, the call to end Systemic Racism and the demand to defund Law Enforcement agencies around this country attempting to perpetuate a continual division amongst our Black and White citizens of this nation. Sadly, they appear to be succeeding. How has this become possible?

We the people have lost sight of the priceless value of freedom. Because we have forgotten that the strength of true freedom lies in the acknowledgment that all humans are granted by their Creator with certain inalienable rights and our inherent human dignity is fulfilled when we are governed by His moral precepts – which in turn produces true freedom – both physical and spiritual. The clarion call is loud and clear today. We must again, as American citizens, rise to the occasion and stand shoulder-to-shoulder, through our blood, sweat and tears, and rescue this nation from those attempting a coupe d’état against the will of the people, illegally forcing National Socialism and oppression like that experienced in other countries around the world. Such as, The French Revolution – Reign of Terror; The Soviet Union – Communism; Nazi Germany – Socialism; South Africa – Apartheid, China – Communism; Cambodia – The Killing Fields, etc. The writing is on the wall, Socialism is encroaching at our door of this nation, our freedoms are being systematically removed. Now that we are being manipulated by various political entities within our government and quickly moving towards a Nationalist Socialist society, we as a people must rise up in a peaceful counter-protest.

I am convinced that the Democrat Party, for decades has been introducing a Socialist agenda throughout this country, and by any means necessary. Through the courts, mainstream media, public education system, illegal immigration, sanctuary cities, riotous revolution, early release of violent criminals, Antifa and Black Lives Matter, etc.  Our freedom now hangs in the balance – it is for these reasons Freedom has been appropriately identified as priceless – and whoever is willing to pay the most through their own blood, sweat and tears will determine whether or not we will keep or lose this Republic.  The real question is, Will the citizens of America allow freedom to be removed and replace with anarchy?  Only a moral and spiritual foundation, supported by its citizenry can deliver America out of the hands of this vicious malignant culprit, Socialism. By establishing justice and ensuring domestic tranquility, is the only means in which we can make America great again.

If Christians in America continue to live in perpetual states of fear, which is contrary to biblical teachings (see Psalm 23:4, 27:1 and I Timothy 1:7), the long and hard-fought freedoms that have been long enjoyed and protected under the rule of just laws will soon be loss. America will continually and systematically be trampled underfoot by the heavy boots of radical terrorist and oppression by those who hate this country. And they are determined to do everything in their power, as is seen happening around the country, to destroy this great nation.  Will we allow it to continue? The decision is ultimately ours. Can we restore our freedoms? America can never truly be great again, until there is first laid a moral and spiritual foundation governing its citizens based on just and moral laws.  We can do it, but we must stand together!

We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United states of America.
