The Christmas Story

This Christmas Story is a beautifully narrated story regarding the infant-toddler Jesus Christ (from birth to age 2). In a 19-minute audio, I will be reading excerpts from the gospel of Saint Luke chapters 1-2 and Matthew chapters 1-2 of the International Children’s Version Bible. This is set gracefully to orchestral background music.

Travel with Joseph and the virgin Mary to Bethlehem as she prepares to give birth to her firstborn child, Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. Mary’s baby Jesus will be wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger because there was no room for him in the inn. Also, experience the magi (wise men) who following the guiding star (astronomers) to Bethlehem seeking the Christ child Jesus and presents to him gifts – Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh – in honor of the new born king. Observe how King Herod, the tyrannical ruler, refuses to accept the hint of another king attempting to depose him of his kingdom and desires to destroy the child Jesus. Yet, at every turn the divine hand of God works wonderfully to protect the child Jesus through many glorious acts.

You and your family can relax and enjoy “The Christmas Story” as you are transported back to the first century where you experience the actual Nativity scene and the family’s escape to safety in Egypt. Each Christmas, before you and your family opening gifts, make this an annual tradition where your whole family can enjoy celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ…The True Meaning of Christmas!
